G&S riders want to go out on a high

The final round of the the National Superstock 1,000 and 600 Championships take place at Brands Hatch over the weekend - with both G&S Racing Kawasaki riders out to score as many points as possible to end on a high.

Tom Fisher will contest the Superstock 600 championship race and this will be his last ride aboard the 600 Kawasaki as he is to make the step up to the 1,000 class next year.

He is currently running in 13th place in the rider standings but is only 12 points away from a top-10 place, and he will be seeking to achieve this at Brands Hatch.

There is a free practice session on Friday at 11.05am followed by first qualifying at 3.30pm.

Final qualifying takes place on Saturday at 11.05am ahead of the final race of the year on Sunday at 2.15pm and the result of the 12-lap affair will decide the championship standings.

Dominic Usher (pictured) will also be seeking a good result.

He has come on in leaps and bounds this year, posting faster lap times than ever before.

His best result of the season was at Brands Hatch when he finished in 11th place, and he will be looking to improve on that at the weekend.

Free practice takes place on Friday at 11.45am followed by the first qualifying session at 4.05pm.

Final qualifying is on Saturday at 11.40am .

There is a final free practice session at 5.20pm.

The 14-lap season finale race takes place at 10.25am on Sunday morning.
