Lodgers E got the edge over stablemates Lodgers B in the Boston and District Table Tennis League, winning 7-3.

Graham Lacey won his three, beating the challenges offered by Trev Blackbourn, Vic Clements and Tim Day.

David Kime picked up two, against Trev and Vic, but Colin Bell had the hardest night of all, taking five sets to overcome the challenges of Trev and Tim.

Another contest between teams from the same club saw Graves Park C beat the A team 9-1.

Rob Smith was the A team player to stop the rot, beating Martin Walters, but Nick Langley and Phil Brooks both lost their matches to Martin, James Quinton and Mick East.

Any table tennis players who are not attached to a club this season and would like to get involved still have a chance.

Players are asked to contact either Rob Smith (722890) or Mick Maltby (362659).
