The International Lincolnshire Poacher Longtrack meeting will be hosted by Wainfleet and District Sporting Motorcycle Club on Sunday.
A galaxy of world elite solo motorcycle riders and top 1,000cc sidecar teams will battle for the coveted Poacher titles and a slice of the huge £10,000 prize fund on the 1,000m Thorpe St Peter circuit.
Heading the speedway contingent is Speedway Grand Prix rider Chris (Bomber) Harris of Coventry Bees, along with Birmingham Brummies skipper Tom Perry and teenage junior world champion Zach Wajtknecht.
Grasstrack specialists include the spectacular James Shanes, runner-up in his European Championship final and world title holder and three-time Poacher champ ion Andrew Appleton.
Harland Cook, Paul Cooper, Tim Nobes, Mitch Godden, Georgie Wood, Callum Walker and Mark Baseby are also sure to be in the mix.
The overseas contingent is headed by European champion Jannick de Jong, double European champ Theo Pijper and Germany’s Christian Hulshorst.
Lincolnshire riders Ben Fenn-Smith (Sleaford) and Mark Richardson (Boston) will also compete.
Competing in the sidecars will be Friskney’s Colin Blackbourn and passenger Carl Pugh (pictured), taking on British Masters champions Rod Winterburn and Liam Brown and two-time Poacher champion Rob Bradley with Wrangle-based passenger Shaun Simpson.
Practice starts at 11am and the main action starts at 1pm.
