In Division One of the Boston & District Table Tennis League, Graves Park A recorded their first maximum of the season in a match against Lodgers Blades.

The contest had been previously postponed, but proved to be worth the wait for the victors. Alan Reetham was the pick of the Park players, winning his three games in straight sets.

For the Blades, Simon Raistrick will have been left feeling very frustrated, losing a 2-0 set lead not once, but twice, against Phil Brooks and number seven-ranked Rob Smith.

Gavin Read also took Rob to five sets, whilst Scott Raistrick lost out in four sets to Phil and Rob, Rob squeezing through at deuce in the fourth.
