Kirton racer ben Wilson will begin the British Supersport season with a new look.
Wilson has unveiled his new helmet design, which will be seen in public at the first official test tomorrow (Thursday) at Donington Park.
Skegness-based graphic designer Phil Bedford, of Artomise.co.uk, came up with the eye-catching design.
Wilson will be joined at Gearlink Kawasaki by former champion Alastair Seeley, who snatched the title with a one point advantage over Wilson in 2011.
Asked how he felt about racing in the same team as Seeley, Wilson replied: “It doesn’t matter who’s sat next to you on the same colour bike.
“It makes no difference to me, I just want to win.
“We just need to finish the job off from 2011 and hopefully it’ll be me in front.
“There’s no doubt that there’s going to be a fantastic battle though.
“You can’t talk about a particular rider this season, there is such a depth of talent on the grid this year.
“But we can say that we’re certainly as competitive as anyone out there.
“The team has been working hard on the bike through the winter months and now it is down to me to put it through its paces and try to secure the wins.”
Over the next two weeks he will be attending official BSB tests.
Donington will be followed by Brands Hatch (March 19) and Snetterton (March 20/21), to get some track time ahead of the first race of the season, which will be at Brands Hatch on April 7.
