Gymnast Ruby-Mae claims a third at national competition

Boston Gymnastics Academy’s Ruby-Mae Hardstaff competed for the East Midlands Team in the British Gymnastics National Grade Four event at Fenton Manor in Stoke on Trent.

Ruby-Mae had a clean competition and even managed an amazing third place on the beam with a score of 12.350.

She also placed seventh on the vault, scoring 12.950.

Her total score for all the pieces (bars, beam, vault, floor and range) was an impressive 62.250 which placed her 28th out of 50 in the UK.

The East Midlands team finished in 12th place which was a great result.
