Hasnip has the fight to see off darts challenge

PAUL Hutter put up a good fight against Dave Hasnip in the Friday Night Darts League.

He also hit a 180, but Dave was very steady and checked well to seal a 4-0 win.

A father-versus-son clash saw dad Mick Flynn get the better of son Dan with a 4-2 success.

Kev Lenton was in good form to beat Deb Royal 4-1, while leader Ady Parker beat Paul Hutter and Graham Sharp got the better of Dan Flynn by the same scoreline.

Sharp was in good form, edging past Harry Lee 4-3.

Andy Cammack beat Paul Grainger 4-0 before Kev Lenton beat Dave Hasnip 4-2, also throwing a 180.

Lincs Racing

Division Two

PETE Grooby took a step closer to the title after he defeated Redvers Dickinson.

He was in good form and soon raced to a 4-0 victory.

Rob Cade took on Matt Grant in a fairly close clash, although Rob was checking the better as he won 4-1.

Jimmy Birtwhistle and Darren Blythe had a right old battle, with Darren taking the match 4-3.

There was a close match between Rob Cade and Luke Everitt, but experience prevailed as Rob won 4-1.

Ben Leadbeater then took on Rob Scrupps, in a seven-legger.

Matching each other score for score, Ben edged it 4-3.

Pete Grooby was back to the oche to take on Kev Dickinson.

In yet another good match, Pete sealed the match 4-2.

Division Three

ANGIE Upsall and Louise Willacombe went all the way in their close battle - but it was Angie who hit the final double to win 3-2.

Sophie Marston was in good form against Mel Leadbeater, and checked well when pressured to seal a good 3-0 win.

Another whitewash saw Tina Willacombe go down to John Vear, although the clash was closer than the score implied.

Suzy Watson played well against Billy Baily in a match which could have gone either way. But it was Billy who found the doubles to take a 3-0 win.

Dennis Turner faced Bob Birtwhistle in a very tight match, which Dennis wrapped the match up 3-0.

A cracking match saw Di Hunt taking on Angie Upsall.

Di started the stronger and also finished the better, finishing on 114 for a 3-1 win.
