It is hoped that the Wyberton-based team G&S Racing Kawasaki will be back to full strength for the penultimate round of the Nation Superstock 1,000 and 600 championships that take place at Silverstone at the weekend... as rider Dan Hegarty is striving to get back to full fitness prior to the event.

Hegarty has had a few weeks to recover from the injuries received in a crash at Cadwell Park, and is now hoping to return.

After an outing at Silverstone on the 1,000cc machine in the Silverstone 200 race, Tom Fisher returns to his 600cc championship this weekend.

This will be his penultimate ride in the series as he is to make the step up to 1,000cc series next year.

Dominic Usher (pictured. Photo: Dave Yeomans) will be seeking a strong finish after he produced some fast laps in the Silverstone 200 race last month, and will be hoping to add to his points tally in the 1,000cc class.

Free practice for both classes will take place on Friday morning - the 600s at 11.05am and the 1,000s at 11.45am.

The first qualifying session for the Superstock 600 class is scheduled for Friday at 3.30pm, with the 1,000cc class on track directly afterwards at 4.05pm.

Final qualifying is on Saturday at 11.40am and 12.15pm respectively, with the Superstock 600s taking to the track at noon on Sunday for their 10-lap race.

The Superstock 1,000 race is to be run over 11 laps of the Northamptonshire circuit at 2.20pm.
