BOSTON rider Neil Kent’s victory in the 2010 Manx Grand Prix earned him another trophy on Saturday - the Austin Munks Memorial Shield.

The shield is presented to the Lincolnshire rider with the highest placing in the previous year’s Manx GP.

Kent is the first rider to have been awarded the shield five times.

At last year’s Manx GP he won the lightweight race on a Dennis Trollope Yamaha 250cc.

The Austin Munks Shield was presented to him at Saturday’s Skegness and District Motorcycle Club’s annual dinner at the Suncastle, in Skegness.

The previous evening Kent was a guest of honour at a dinner on the Isle of Man for winners of last year’s MGP events.
