Holland Fen are the new leaders in the Orchard Podiatry Division One of the Boston Indoor Bowls League.

They collected a full house 12-point haul from a double week, beating the bottom two teams Swineshead (M. Tomlin 32-5, K. French 30-10) and IBC (M. Tomlin 21-12, K. French 24-14).

Eastenders dropped to second and trail by two points despite a 6-0 win over Invaders (A. Reeson 23-17, P. Flatters 24-11).

Third-placed Carlton Road dropped a point against Half Pints as a last end three from T. Reeson drew her game against C. Gill, with L. Feary taking a 38-6 win for a 5-1 overall result.

IBC managed two points against A40 with a 20-18 from M. Asplen, but the 26-10 reply from D. Wilson-Rogers secured a 4-2 win.

Royal Mail beat Jolly Farmers 6-0 (K. Sharp 17-13, A. Hill 25-18).

Norprint march on at the top of T&B Containers Division Two with a 5-1 win over Boston Park. J. Nicholson took the last two ends to win 23-19 and B. Barton scored on the last three ends to get a 20-20 draw with R. Patchett.

The curse of the second-placed team struck again as Golfers were beaten 4-2 by Strollers, N. Ablard’s 23-16 not matching M. Hippisley’s 27-15 return.

Punchbowlers moved into second with a 6-0 win over Patriarchs (J. Skelton 16-15, T. Bush 21-14).

Two teams trying to join in the battle for second both put in 6-0 wins, Poachers beating Feathers (E. Ulyatt 18-17, M. Dodes 18-16) and Parthians Breakaways (P. Sharp 18-17, K. Nix 20-16).

The Crowns draw level on points with Boston Park at the bottom after a 4-2 loss against Amateurs, a 17-12 win from P. Copeland bettered by M. Greet’s 23-12 for the aggregate points.

Cammacks Division Three leaders The Burtons consolidated their lead with a 6-0 win over form team The Autos (C. Hill 19-13, C. Newham 28-6).

Second-placed Central dropped a point in a very close game with BBC, B. Hunn winning 17-16 and F. Epton scoring a last end one to draw 15-15 with T. Vere.

Fairways earned a 6-0 over High Flyers (A. Hall 16-14, H. Scarboro 28-14) and Shipmates scored a 6-0 over U3 (T. Beck 21-10, R. Robinson 22-13).

Hotspurs, in third, lost 5-1 to for Sibsey, an 18-13 from S. Bridges and a 13-13 between A. Dunnett and D. Fox puts them in contention for third also.

Vikings jumped a couple of places up the table with a handy 6-0 win over Traders (D. Staples 19-14, P. Jacklin 25-9).
