A packed month of stock car and banger racing action at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena begins with two days of racing this weekend... with plenty of Boston-area racers involved.
Saturday’s Summer Carnival Night, headlined by the unlimited bangers’ pre-1985 Big Reunion, also features qualifying for the two-litre saloon Stock Car National Championship and Reliant Robin racing.
On Sunday the saloon stock cars contest the National Championship final and Steve Newman Memorial.
There will also be 1300cc stock cars and two-litre (non-Mondeo) bangers in action.
Saturday night’s banger racing is set to build on May’s fantastic Heinegone event, with nearly 100 pre-1985 classics booked to race.
Boston’s Lyndon and Lloyd Stark, who are really making names for themselves in the national banger scene, will compete.
Younger brother Jorji Stark will be joining them in a rare unlimited banger appearance and father Shaun will also be back in action after enjoying success in some occasional outings over the past 12 months, including a race win at this meeting last year.
Other Boston-based drivers in action in the unlimited bangers include Ricky Haresign and Will Longford.
Lloyd Stark will also be in action in the 2L (non-Mondeo) bangers on Sunday.
Sunday also features the 1300 stock cars in the Steve Newman Memorial where Chris Morley (Boston) will be looking to continue his recent form which saw him record three runner-up finishes at Coventry.
Ian Cowen (Boston) has also enjoyed a great 2015 year and his great run of results has now seen him graded an A grade blue top driver and he will be racing in his second meeting from the blues on Sunday.
