Boston Tennis Club juniors were well represented in the final stages of the Hunstanton Lawn Tennis competition.

Victoria Beardsley successfully defended the girls’ under 14 singles title before teaming up with Charlotte Priestley to take runners-up spot in the under 14 girls’ doubles, losing 4-6,6-4,5-7 in the final.

Felix Beech won the 18 and under boys’ title with David Cheer as the runner-up.

Jessica Frankish reached the semi-finals of the 18 and under girls’ section, losing out in an extremely close three setter.

At under 12 level Paris Wright was runner-up and Calypso Priestley reached the semis.

Meanwhile, Lilia Halyova (pictured) won an under 10s round robin event.

In the senior finals, Emily Hawkesworth was runner-up in the ladies’ open whilst Rachel Atkinson and Lincoln’s Margaret Fincham were runners-up in a veteran ladies’ final.

Andy Clamp an his partners were runners-up in the over 55 mixed doubles and men’s doubles.

Sam Kemp and Will Mason were runners-up in the men’s open doubles.

Will and Danielle Frankish won the mixed doubles whilst Andrew Cook was runner-up in the over 35s men’s singles.

Boston Tennis Club’s Men’s Third team, seeking promotion in to division two of the Lincolnshire Slazenger Doubles League, moved a step closer with a 6-0 win against Ruston Seconds.

Chris Cook, John Gibson, Andy Clamp, Tom Cozens, Ryan Frankish and Richard Hart too part.

The Men’s Fourths won 5-4 at Scotter, with Toby McDonnell-Woods, Zafar Khan, Zach McDonnell-Woods, Richard Woods, Joe Parla and Robert Bonser in action.

The Men’s Fifths were beaten 2-7 against Horncastle.

Richard Cozens, Sev Smura, David Makins, Connall Newton, Michael Audus and Richard Tupper represented Boston.
