Boston Tennis Club’s Ladies’ team have booked their place in next year’s regional section of the Aegon Team Tennis competition.

The team finished top of their county division this season, qualifying for a play-off at Derbyshire’s Church Broughton club, knowing the winners would move up the ladder.

Captain Emma Mastin was joined by Charlotte Priestley, Chloe Robinson and Ashleigh Frankish on Sunday.

The singles were close encounters with three out of the four going to a third set championship tie-break.

Boston won two of these and also the fourth singles in two sets.

Boston then won both the doubles rubbers to gain an overall 5-1 success.

Tori Needham, Jessica Frankish, Linda Barrow, Jane Hindmarch, Jenny McGarel, Charlotte Priestley, Chloe Robinson, Ashleigh Frankish and Emma Mastin have all represented the team this season.
