However, the A did enough for a 6-4 win.

Stickney demolished Wrangle A 9-1.

Sam Cooper and Pete Evans combined to beat Paul Hartnett and Gavin Herberts in the doubles for a little dignity.

Penmaen A recorded a 10-0 success against Graves Park C - Brian Hill winning his matches with plenty to spare.

Penmaen then earned a 9-1 victory against Graves Park A - nine of the contests over in straight sets although Rob Smith defeated Peter Munch.

Lodgers G beat Graves Park D 8-2.

Boyd Smith, from Division Two team Lodgers H, made a guest appearance and beat Dave Walters, helping Kelvin Clements and Mark Hulme to victory.

Graves Park C gave second-placed Lodgers G a real scare, before going down 6-4 to Gary Hill, Mark Hulme and Kelvin Clements.
