Boston Wheelers’ Jael Maw was back on the podium at round four of the Midlands Mtb xc at Eckington.

There was more for her to cheer as she and Connor Wilkinson attended the Fenland Clarion Go-ride grasstrack races this weekend.

Jael finished first in the time trial, third in the keirin and fifth in the handicap event.

Ian Scott posted a time of 26 mins 43 secs at the Witham Wheelers 10 event while Sam Trotter rode in the East Midlands RR Champs at Harvey Hadden, Nottingham.

He earned a sixth place and followed that up on Sunday with a blistering ride on the Olympic MTB Course at Hadleigh Farm - where he came second in the latest Mud, Sweat and Gears series event.

Boston Wheeler Shane Gowling recorded a personal best of 22 mins 06 secs at the Skegness 10 mile TT.

The club also had a great turnout for the Time Trials & Skills event held at the Princess Royal Sports Arena as part of the British Cycling Go-Ride session, where kids from Boston and Sleaford Wheelers took part.

Jael Maw also attended the Go Ride race session put on by Mansfield Tri Club, finishing second in the girls’ duathlon competition.
