Pigeons had to face the hottest day of the season, and a head wind, on Saturday, when racing from the north, but returns were among the best of the year.

Ray Knight took the first three positions in Boston and District RPC with the fastest birds into the area, while Terry Appleby registered his first win of the season in Boston Central.

The south roaders had the benefit of a helping wind from Littlehampton, Dick Brocklesby the winner.
