HARRY Lee returned to the oche and caused a minor upset, defeating league leader Mark Simpson.

Lee claimed victory with a 4-2 success, the same score by which Andy Cammack saw off Kev Lenton.

Lincs Racing Division One

ROB Cade picked up a good 4-1 win at the expense of Matt Grant, to welcome in the new year.

Jimmy Birtwhistle also claimed a victory, edging past Ali Baker 4-2.

Two seven-leggers saw Kev Dickinson beat Dan Blythe and Matt Grant beat Redvers Dickinson.

Daz Blythe beat Luke Everitt in yet another 4-3 result.

Rob Cade made it eight points with a 4-2 success against George Martin and Luke Everitt beat Ben Leadbetter by the same score.

John Smith’s Division Two

AMIE Jackson checked well to see off Dennis Turner, with a 3-1 win.

A close challenge saw John Vear and Bob Birtwhistle go all the way, John claiming the fifth and deciding leg.

Angie Upsall finished well to beat Liz Chapman 3-1, while Di Hunt thwarted Mel Leadbetter’s comeback to seal a 3-2 victory.

Liz Chapman got back to winning ways by beating Louise Willacombe 3-1.
