Millers have the edge in bowls league

Division One

ALL three rinks were close but Sibsey Millers had the edge against Forbes Road, winning 7-1 (53-48). Two close rink wins for Sleaford Road A saw them earn a 4-4 (47-58) result at home to Forbes Road.

Division Two

GOOD Fellowship claimed the aggregate points to beat Friskney 6-2 (64-35), before beating Stickney 6-2 (55-42) in their next outing.

West End A got the better of West Skirbeck, winning 6-2 (58-48).

West Skirbeck struggled at home to Billinghay, losing on two rinks but earning a draw, 4-4 (44-38).

Stickney’s revival continued with a 6-2 (47-36) win at home to West Skirbeck.

Division Three

A TOP-of-the-table clash saw Burton House close the gap on second-placed Wrangle, with a good but close 6-2 (56-50) victory.

Burton House were involved in another top clash, winning 6-2 (51-42) to move within one shot of opponents Sibsey Strollers.

Wrangle B played well at home against BBC I, claiming an 8-0 (62-34) result.

BBC II lost the aggregate by one shot in the home game with Kirton A, the score being 2-6 (52-53).

Division Four

WIGTOFT, playing at Horncastle, had two substantial rink wins as they shared the spoils 4-4 (55-52).

Bottom club Sibsey Traders moved temporarily off the bottom, despite going down 2-6 (41-45) to Horncastle.

All rinks were close at Sleaford Road, with Bicker going down 6-2 (50-49).

Division Five

SWINESHEAD continue on their march towards the title with a good 6-2 (67-37) win at home against Belton Park.

Kirton C drew a rink at home to Donington II and went close on a second but could not stop the away side who won 1-7 (30-62).
