Millennium Trophy winner Alan Molyneux has had to pull out of the Boston Speedway Reunion event.

The former Coventry rider was due to attend and parade the trophy, which was paid for when 1,00 Bostonians put £1 each into a kitty.

However, due to health reasons, Molyneux will be unable to make it..

However, a number of former speedway stars will be in attendance.

These include David Gagen, Peter Frammingham, David Blackburn, Jack Bywaters, Tony Featherstone, Colin Cook, Rob Mouncer and Ray Bales. Former promoter Cyril Crane and ex-rider Robn Hollingsworth will also attend.

Videos of old races will be shown, along with a number of old photos and clippings on display from the Boston Barracudas’ heyday.

The event will be held at the Waterfront on February 23, from 6pm.
