Boston Rowing Club’s juniors achieved four top 10 national rankings after competing at the Junior Inter-Regionals at Nottingham on Saturday.
Lucie Scott powered to fourth place in her heat of the WJ14 1x, however in the final a rogue wave put paid to her medal chances by flooding her boat.
However, she rowed on strongly to claim sixth place.
Dingo Summerfield - in the J14 1x - found himself slightly lacking in horsepower for his heat.
However, he put in an almighty effort to be rewarded with second place in the B Final, ranking him in eighth.
The ever-dominant Latka twins, Jasmine and Ruby, competed in the WJ14 2x and sailed into their A final with ease.
They put on another strong performance to take fifth place overall.
Oliver Tunnard and Jacques Garvey were paired in the J14 2x.
They cemented a very strong fifth place.
Jakub Zareba, with Polly and Saffy Summerfield, were members of the Junior eights.
These crews were made up of youngsters from across the East Midlands region.
the girls came sixth overall andthe boys came ninth.
