A ‘beautiful’ shot - which saw her opponent suffer a standing eight count - helped Nina Bradley book her place in the final of the women’s Amateur Boxing Association Championships.

On Saturday, 25-year-old Bradley won a majority decision against reigning champion Lauren Walker to book her place in the final of the 10-fights-and-under section of the 60 kilo weight category.

The shot, in the second round, left Walker reeling during the bout in Manchester.

It also broke the defending champ’s nose.

“It was a beautiful shot,” said Bradley’s trainer Dave ‘Crock’ Goddard.

Bostonian Bradley will now fight in the final at Cannock on Sunday evening.

Bradley is being sponsored by Boston’s Acorn Taxis, who are paying for her travelling and accommodation costs.
