Olympic trials come to Boston

OLYMPIC hopefuls will be in Boston this weekend - hoping to book their place at London 2012.

Once again, Boston Rowing Club has been selected to host the Great Britain rowing trials on the Witham.

Team GB’s management hierarchy will run the rule over hopefuls looking to do enough to secure a place representing the nation in next year’s Games.

The trials will be held on Saturday, based at the Carlton Road clubhouse.

The Boston club is also the host of the junior GB trials each year, with the straight Witham course offering one of the best rowing experiences in the country.
