With only one match left to play in Division One of the Boston and District Table Tennis League – between Penmaen and Lodgers A – the winners of this year’s top flight are, once again, Penmaen.

The runners-up are Lodgers A.

Lodgers Blades and Sibsey C came in ninth and 10th places, and must now sweat it out during the summer to see if they will be relegated.

Results: Wrangle 0 Penmaen 10, Graves Park C 1 Penmaen 9, Lodgers B 1 Lodgers A 9.

In Division Two, Sibsey A completed their season and deservedly emerged as winners of the division, with Graves Park D in second place.

These two teams, who must now wait until the fixture meeting to have their promotion to Division One confirmed.

Result: Sibsey A 8 Sibsey B 2.
