Boston Amateur Boxing Club’s Sean Price-Regan recorded a unanimous victory at the expense of Nicholas Hickling.
Fighting at Burton Latimer Community Centre, against the home-town Kettering ABC competitor, the Donington lad was looking for a good result to follow on from the knockout he recorded in his previous bout.
Price-Regan started strongly, with good offensive pressure frustrating his opponent.
His strong efforts had Hickling frustrated, leaving the Kettering lad picking up repeated warnings about his conduct on his way to the defeat.
Aaron Johnson was in action at the St Ives ABC dinner show.
In a close contest, it was the Cambridgeshire man who was awarded the unanimous decision.
Keir Sellars faced Eastwood ABC’s A. Shahzard in a bout in Birmingham.
Sellars was issued with two standing counts in the contest before his corner took the step of retiring him in the third round.
