Boston Squash and Racketball Club’s A team were beaten by Horncastle in the county’s racketball league.

In the home contest, Boston went down 3-0.

Mick Merrison got the ball rolling against visiting player Gary Worley, but he lost 3-0 (3-11, 0-11, 4-11).

Next up was Katie Price, taking on Katie Wells.

The Boston player went down 3-1 (6-11, 11-9, 7-11, 8-11).

Completing the victory for Horncastle was Martin Wells.

He beat Boston A’s Jim Woods 3-0 (5-11, 6-11, 9-11).

Boston B, however, secured a 2-1 victory at Metheringham A.

They had to come from behind to win after Sam Booth was beaten by host club player Dan Carlisle 3-1 (5-11, 8-11, 8-11, 13-11).

But undeterred, Tim Booth levelled things up with a 3-0 success at the expense of Nick Allen.

Tim won 3-0 (11-5, 11-7, 11-4).

Another 3-0 success saw Jason Hadland complete the comeback when he defeated Neil Reynolds (11-7, 15-13, 11-7).

This weeks Boston’s A and B teams will face one another.
