The town may no-longer be home to a speedway team, but fans of the sport are being invited to get on their bikes and go for a ride down memory lane.
The fourth Boston Barracudas reunion will be held at the Poachers Country Hotel, Kirton Holme, on January 3 - with plenty of highlights for fans of the team to savour.
Around 70 riders who have worn the famous blue and silver Barracudas body jacket have indicated their intention to attend the function - including the majority of the British League Two double wining side of 1973.
Former World Champion Michael Lee will be a first-time visitor to the event, which means the whole septet which beat Hackney in the 1975 Inter-League Knockout Cup will be back together again.
Joining Michael as other reunion debutants will be Dave Allen, Phil Alderman, Dave Mortiboys, Graham Edmunds, Andy Simms, Chris Cole, Brian Osbourne, Steve Clarke and Ian Turner.
Among the attractions on the night will be an auction of an original 1970 Boston body jacket, donated by then captain Graham Edmunds.
Steve Lomas - the fastest-ever rider around New Hammond Beck Road - will be bringing along his record-braking bike.
Meanwhile, footage of early Barracuda meetings will also be shown to bring back memories.
The free event, which begins at 7pm, will welcome all former Cudas riders, officials and fans.
