BOSTON Rowing Club is once again staging it’s annual 3km row on Boxing Day (Sunday, December 26).

The event will take place on the River Witham, providing the Arctic weather does not force it to be called off.

Rowing has been cancelled during the last couple of weeks due to the icy conditions which has also prevented the club from hosting the next round of GB trials.

The Boxing Day row will start from Anton’s Gowt at 11.30am and finish at Boston Rowing Club boathouse for presentations and festive drinks.

Last year’s winners were a quad of mixed ages, adults, juniors, male and female with various levels of experience.

The race is always handicapped so anything can happen!
