Royal rumble sees Deb defeat son Chris in the darts league

Defending champion Chris Royal suffered his first defeat of the Boston Standard Premier Division season in the Friday Night Individual Darts League, losing 4-3 to his mum, Debra.

And it was a bad night for league leader Andy Cammack, going down 4-0 to Sam Dawson.

Dave Hasnip hit a 180 against Daz Turk but lost 4-0 and Ady Parker also found one as he beat Stan Smith 4-2.

Sean Rickell beat Smith 4-1 and Harry Lee 4-0.

In the Pizza Perfection Championship, Paul Taylor was in superb form as he caused two upsets, beating unbeaten Paul Revell 4-0 and league leader Paul Hickinbottom 4-2.

Rob Cade beat Ali Baker 4-3 and Pete Grooby 4-0, but Pete bounced back to defeat Ali 4-0.

Dave Holland beat Anthony Bennett 4-1 and Kev Lenton got the better of Simon Trigg, 4-2.

The T&B Containers Division Two saw Jamie Barnes beat Simon Bush 3-1, including a 118 finish.

Jamie then returned to the oche to beat Redvers Dickinson 3-0.

A number of 3-2 victories saw Craig Wightman beat Wally Almond, Mark Baily beat Rob Scrupps and Darren Blythe beat Ben Carr.

Luke Cammack beat Bush 3-0 and Rob Scrupps beat Matt Grant 3-1.

In the Heineken UK John Smith’s Division Three, Carl Baily beat Adam Gurton 3-1, Suzy Watson beat Bob Birtwhistle 3-1, Jimmy Birtwhistle beat Luke Everitt 3-1 and Gurton beat Bob Birtwhistle 3-0.

Jake Lammyman beat Louise Willicombe 2-1 in the C&C TV Division Four, with three 3-0s seeing Phil Burman beat Jessica Lymer, Jodie Sygrove beat Lymer and Lammyman beat Sygrove.
