Sharp secures fourth spot in Boston Friday Night Darts League

IN THE outstanding fixtures of the Friday Night Individual Darts League, Paul Hutter finished his Boston Standard Premier Division season with a 180 against Mick Flynn.

However, it was Mick who went on to win 4-3.

Graham Sharp then secured fourth place at the expense of rival Darren Aucote.

As they went head-to-head, Darren won 4-3.

However, Graham had a game in hand and beat Mick Flynn 4-2 to leapfrog his opponent.

In Lincs Racing Division Two, Luke Everitt’s season finished with a 4-1 victory against George Martin.

There were some important games in the John Smith’s Division Three as John Vear came out as champion for the first time.

He beat Bob Birtwhistle 3-0 and Angie Upsall 3-1 to claim the trophy.

Phil Hunt secured second spot as he beat Sophie Marston 3-2.

Upsall claimed third following a 3-2 success against Emma Grant.

Fourth spot went to Carl Baily.

Bob Birtwhistle beat Mel Leadbetter 3-1, Suzy watson secured a 3-2 success against Sophie Marston and Tina Willacombe won 3-0 against Emma Grant.

The ladies’ section was won by Angie Upsall on countback, at the expense of Di Hunt.

Suzy Watson was third lady and Emma Grant fourth.

The presentation night will be on June 1 at 8.30pm. The annual meeting will be held the same night from 7.30pm.
