SHIRLEY Raynor won the ladies’ section’s August Stableford at Kirton Holme Golf Club.
She scored 20 points in the nine-hole event to beat runner-up Gloria Bursnell (13) and Carol Wilson (11).
The Saturday Stableford 18-hole event was won by Yvonne Prior,
She scored 35 points.
Paula Kidby (33) was second and Penny Wainwright (29) third.
Jackie Ward won the August Medal with a gross 79, nett 69.
In second, on countback, was Anthea Hall (90/71) and in third place was Sarah Cantwell (88/71).
In the Tuesday Medal, Catherine Ellis came out on top with a gross 90, nett 70.
Sheila Woodhead was second on countback (105/71)) with Jean Cook third (101/71).
Sheila Woodhead won the Sandra Chester Trophy.
The Tuesday Stableford was saw Tricia Sharpe’s wonderful 42 points enough to see off Chris Gill (34), who pipped Linda Childs,on countback.
Lady Captain’s Day was a stableford competition organised by Mary Piper.
Prizes were awarded to the winners of the front and back nine, with Penny Wainwright and Anthea Hall taking the trophies.
Nearest the pin on the 12th was Tricia Sharpe, and Elaine McCartney won nearest the line on the 18th.
The overall winner of the competition was Andy Thorlby with 39 points.
In second place was Paula Kidby and third was Jackie Ward.
In friendly matches, Kirton Holme beat South Kyme 2-1 on their home green.
Also at Holme, they lost out two-and-a-half to one-and-a-half against Eagles.
