Shoddies 2 move up to second in the Super League

In the Boston Snooker League Super League, Shoddies 20 moved up to second with a thumping 7-1 victory against BSC 3.

There were 2-0 wins for Carl Rowe, Darren Christian and Tom Hill, while N. Robinson drew with Joe Hill.

BSC 13 remain top after beating Cons 1 7-1, Joe Welch and Nobby Clarke both winning their two while Des Forbes and Adam Brackenbury shared the points.

BSC 2 and BSC 5 shared the spoils. Beef Hurling winning for Cons 2 and D. Quinn winning for the 5, with the other results shared.

Breaks: D. Christian 81, 33.

In the Premier League, pacesetters Q Club 1 saw off BSC 19 6-2, Will Tyson versus Nathan Barton and Robin Alexander versus Barry Cox both draws, before Craig Lee and Chris Taylor both winning.

Q Club 2 and BSC 12 couldn’t be separated with a 4-4 draw. The only wins saw Graham Day win for the 12 and Louis Wong win for Q Club 2.

BSC 8 beat Cons 2 6-2, thanks to 2-0 wins for I. Dallywaters, and G. Dunmore.

Graves Park 4 hammered BSC 16 7-1. Dave Cuttings’ 100 per cent record ended with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of M. Tabor. P. Galley and S. Simpson also won and S. Matthews salvaged a point against S. Simpson.

In Division One, Cons 4 beat Cons 5 5-3. A. Haycock won for the 5 but M. Griggs and L. Clayton responded before D. Wood and D. Nundy shared the points.

Another 5-3 score saw Shodfriars 3 beat BSC 10, John Vines, R. Crunkhorn and Colin Woodcock all winners, while J. Ely and Carl Bailey shared the points.

Division Two saw Graves Park 3 beat Kirton 7-1, M. Hodgson, G. Hall and J. Clarke winning, with A. Bradshaw and J. Hodgson drawing.

Q Club 3 and BSC 7 drew 4-4, every match finishing 1-1 while Stuart Whitaker hit a 52 break - only the Super League has seen a higher break.

Another draw saw a 4-4 between West End Bowls and BSC 17.
