Simmons and Jones in the lead at Tennis club

Callum Simmons and Jeremy George-Jones are the overall leaders in the Bombay Brasserie Singles Leagues – Callum in the main league and Jeremy in the daytime league.

This month top group Callum will face James Newton, Jeremy George-Jones and Matthew Gedney.

In group two Michal Chmielik, Sam Felipes and Courtney George-Jones play while in the adjacent group Ladi Hruban, Emma Mastin and Zach McDonnell-Woods are aiming for promotion.

In the Bombay Brasserie Winter Singles Day League, Jeremy George Jones has 28 points on top of the leaderboard, eight ahead of Richard Walker. He is followed by Ladi Hruban, Richard Tupper and Jim Mackin. This month Jeremy George-Jones, Ladi Hruban, Richard Walker and Richard Tupper are the competitors in the premier. In division two are Chris Mepham, Phil Cosgriff, Steve Olczak and Jenny Murphy on one side of the league and Geoff Presland, Jim Mackin, David Wookey and Phillipe Servonat-Blanc on the other.

Lesley Addy and Steve Olczak are in the lead with 81 games won in the Bombay Brasserie Winter Singles. Diane Sharpe is next with 80 games while Robert Smith has 78 games.

There were good results in the Lincolnshire Mini Tennis Leagues played on Saturday afternoon at Boston. Playing for Boston B and Boston C teams against Horncastle and Tealby were Dominic Sharpe, William Lakin, Devon Morgan, Thomas Piggins, Rodrigo Quevedo, James Gedney, Bethany Hayes, Isabelle Servonat, William Shear, Joshua Brooks, Jacob Felipes, James Burrell. Overall the Boston B team finished in third place in the league of eight teams and the Boston C team finished fifth.
