Division One’s top-of-the-table clash at Sleaford Road, visitors Skegness Foreshore came away victorious with an 8-2 victory.

Sleaford Road’s 100 per cent start was ended as Foreshore moved into first spot.

Burton House had a good victory at home to West End (10-0) to remain in the hunt.

Wrangle visited Boston Bowls Club, who had got their season on the move, and came away with an 8-2 victory.

Steve Skelton and Ian Drury winning for Wrangle whilst Arnold Bennett’s reply not enough to threaten the aggregate.

Ernie Elkington and Alan Brummitt’s rinks gave Friskney an 8-2 victory over hosts Suncastle BC, for whom R. Arnold gained the two points.

In Division Two, Freiston continued their good form with a 10-0 win over Sibsey.

Two rinks were only separated by one shot, but I. Dilley had a comfortable win.

Kirton hosted Mareham and despite a win by visiting skip B. Clark, Kirton’s Barry Bagley and Stan Lawrence gave them an 8-2 victory.
