Snowden reaches the summit with Aycliffe race success

Pigeon fanciers enjoyed their penultimate old bird race of the season, a 130-mile contest from Newton Aycliffe, after the early morning rain cleared on Saturday.

Fastest return was to the loft of experienced fancier, Stan Snowden, who also took third place in Boston Central RPC.

Gough and Reed claimed the first three places in Boston District FC.
