Stickney climbed to third place in Division One of the Boston and District Table Tennis League following a 10-0 demolition of Graves Park D.

Jack Christian lead the way with three straight-set victories in the contest which was held towards the end of 2014.

Paul Matschull came closest to upsetting Stickney’s clean sweep with a five-set tussle with Vince Lozynsky.

Having won the first end, Vince scraped the next 13-11, before Paul hit back, taking the next two to force a deciding leg.

Vince made no mistakes about the last end, however, closing out the set 11-3.

Mick Dodes got close to beating Gavin Herberts, going down 12-14 in the fourth end, while he and Dave Walters made Gavin and Jack work hard for their four set victory in the doubles, but it just wasn’t to be the Park’s night.
