Boston Wheelers’ Green MTB team have concluded their Thetford Winter Series.

Four mountain bikers represented the club in the fourth round of action at Thetford Forest in Norfolk.

Youngster Dan Storey continued to show that he is one of the best juniors in the region.

He finished the junior section in fifth spot.

In the senior section, Earl Taylor was the first Wheeler home in 22nd spot.

Next the finish was Stuart Crunkhorn in 61st.

Completing the quartet was Reece Tomlin, who was 77th.

Sunday will see the Boston Wheelers CC’s annual Hilly event.

Action will start in Revesby at 10am.

The Wheelers hope to make it three wins in a row for the Britvic Trophy, which is contested between Alford Wheelers and Boston Wheelers.

Last year Boston Wheelers won with only a handful of seconds to spare.

A group of Wheelers will undertake a 300-mile charity lap of Lincolnshire on March 21.

They will attempt to cover the distance, two loops of the county, within 24 hours for Sport Relief.
