Three Boston firefighters have been in action at the Fire Service National Squash and Racketball Tournament.
The trio of Mark Housam, Simon Jackson and Ady Proctor (pictured above) were reresenting Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue in the finals in Nottingham.
Proctor cruised into the final of the main squash trophy, were he beat Simon Howling 3-0 to be crowned the national champion.
He also eased into the over 35s squash final, again facing Howling.
And this time he claimed his second title after his opponent had to pull out due to injury.
Housam won the racketball plate final, beating opponent Simon Stone.
Meanwhile, Jackson was beaten by Stone in the quarter-finals of the racketball plate.
The men’s team at Boston Squash booked their place in two county cup finals.
The team of David Stones, Jake Fountain, Ady Proctor, Mark Hildred and Graham Wallis won away at Metheringham in the men’s County Cup semi-final.
Hildred, Proctor, Stones and Fountain earned victories in a 4-1 win, with Wallis being beaten in his match.
The same team then beat Lincoln Eastgate 5-0 at home to book a place in the Lincolnshire Over 35s final.
Boston have now reached all three county cup finals , having also reached the Mixed Cup final.
