Saracen’s Head youngster Ben Stafford produced a four-some display in the the Monex Europe Motogrande 600 pre national event at the weekend.
He recorded four wins, despite crashing out at high speed on a fast corner during practice.
Unhurt, he went on to finish second overall in the 1000cc endurance race later that day, finishing just seven seconds down on the winners.
Stafford was riding a 600cc machine and team-mate Russ Mountford rode a 1000cc machine but the leaders were both on 1000cc machines making the result even better.
It was in the individual races where Stafford really shone, though, enjoying some great battles with series leader Richard Charlton before going on to win.
Given that it was only his fifth race since turning to road racing things are going well for the youngster.
