The Wyberton-based G&S Racing Kawasaki team are hoping for success at Silverstone this weekend.

Kevin Van Leuven and Tom Fisher will compete in the penultimate round of the National Superstock 600 and 1000 championships, which take place at the Northamptonshire circuit.

Fisher will be hoping for a good race which will enable him to move further up the 1000 rider standings, where he has 11points.

Van Leuven crashed heavily during the British Supersport race at Assen, but it is hoped he has recovered sufficiently to take his place on the starting grid in the Superstock 600 race, as he too would like to move further up the standings on the run up to the final round at Brands Hatch.

Kirton’s Aaron Clarke - from the ACR Kawasaki team - will also compete in the 600 series.

Full of confidence from his successful weekend at Cadwell Park, Clarke is targeting his first points of the season.

The Stock 600 class is first out on track on Friday for free practice at 9am, followed by the first qualifying session at 1.25pm.

The final session is on Saturday at 12.20pm, which sets the grid for the start of the 10 lap race at 2.15pm on Sunday.

The Stock 1000 riders have their free practice at 11.50am on Friday, with first qualifying at 2.40pm.

Final qualifying is on Saturday at 12.55pm ahead of the 11 lap race on Sunday at 12.30pm.
