Boston Amateur Swimming Club’s Connor Boyfield won gold and silver medals at the East Midlands Regional Disability Championships.

The previous week saw Connor go through a disability classification process and gala competition, which enabled him to compete at the University of Nottingham pool.

Fifteen-year-old Connor, who is classified as S9, competed in five multi-disability races across the day, winning gold in the 50m butterfly and silver in the 100m butterfly.

Connor also came away with personal bests in the 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly events.
