Boston Tennis Club’s Ladies’ Firsts earned a draw at Grimsby in Division One of the Lincolnshire Veterans Doubles League.
The team of Jenny McGarel, Linda Barrow, Claire Smith and Mary Smura stood level after the first round, and the result remained the same as all the matches were completed.
Boston Ladies’ Thirds, under the captaincy of Hilary Calvert, are a new entry in to the Veterans League.
They made their bow with a very comfortable win for Calvert, Helen Duckett, Helen Cook and Rachel Atkinson against Horncastle Thirds in Division Four.
Boston Men’s Second team earned a 4-4 at Louth Indoor.
The team was Jeremy George-Jones, Henry Cheer, Richard Tupper and Richard Hart.
The Boston and District Winter League returned on Sunday morning, with Boston B, under the new captaincy of David Cheer, put in a good performance away at Horncastle, winning without losing a set.
The team was David Cheer, Terry Mastin, Emma Mastin and Geoff Short.
Boston D won 3-1 at Billinghay as the team of Michal Chmielik, Ehmad Al Gamil, Richard Cozens and Tom Lambert had some close sets but came through to record this win.
Boston E met Boston F, the F winning 4-0.
Boston E included Charles Cotterill, Paul Stevenson, Elliott Saw and James Waterfall while the victorious team was Richard Woods, Zach McDonnell-Woods, Toby McDonnell-Woods and Sam Khan.
In the Lincolnshire Junior Team Tennis Winter League, there was a second win for the Boston A team over Boston B, a loss against Tealby for Boston B team but a win over Sleaford for Boston C team.
