Boston Thunder under 14s began their new season in the County Netball League in fine style.

Against Grimsby came a comfortable 22-1 victory.

Izzy Porcher was named players’ and coaches’ player of the match.

Thunder then defeated Brigg Blue 18-4.

Hattie Needham was the players’ player and Charlotte Priestley was handed the coaches’ award.

Thunder: Billi Jackson, Vicky Beardsley, Megan Clawson, Laura Patrick, Izzy Porcher, Emily Hobbs, Charlotte Priestley.

Boston Lightning under 14s were in action at Lincoln’s Prior Academy, with Maddie Parkin, Chloe Broderick and Joanna Ward making their debuts.

Hard work and an impressive team unity saw the girls defeat Fenland B 7-4.

Izzy Butler was the players’ player and Maisie Tingle earned the nod from the coaches.

Against Fenland A, Boston lost 17-3.

Players’ player was Maddie Parkin and coaches’ player was Chloe Broderick.
