Eight Boston Amateur Swimming Club members were in action at the Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth, representing Tower Road Academy as part of the East Midlands Primary Schools Team competition.

The competition saw schools from Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire compete in two relay events.

The boys’ team of Anton Kiss, Oliver Sydenham, Callum Kiss and Joseph Vickers were a dominant team in the Large Schools’ Boys’ Competition, comfortably winning both the freestyle and medley relays.

The girls’ team of Michaela Arundell, Emily Bontoft, Olivia Norris and Eloise Roberts held their own and finished third overall in the Large Schools’ Girls’ competition in both the freestyle and medley relays.

Both teams have now qualified for the National Primary School Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield on June 20.
