A score of +1 was enough for Barbara Unwin to win the Skene Shield at Boston Golf Club.
Joan Young took second spot.
There has been plenty of other action in the ladies’ section.
There was a large field for the Jan Miller Memorial Trophy, which Claire Rylott won with 41 points, reducing her handicap by one.
In second was Jackie Short (38) and Judith Flevill was third (37).
The event also raised £150 for the MacMillan Nurses.
Handicaps continued to be reduced as good scores were also achieved in the Bothamley Bowl.
The Bowl was presented to winner Hilary Calvert, who won with 41 points.
Joan Young (40) was second and both ladies lost a shot.
The Lady President’s Day was keenly contested as more good scores were posted.
Lady President Chris Needham presented her Salver to competition winner Jean Markham, who won with a tremendous score of 42 points, cutting her handicap by one shot.
Prizes were also presented to winners in three categories: silver, low and high bronze.
First in silver was Judith Flevill (40), second was Fran Grant (38). Winner of low bronze was Pam King (39) ahead of Barbara Unwin (36). The high bronze winner was Liz Harris (36). Ann Gullick (32) was second.
The nine hole competition was won by Jean Flynn.
An exchange day was played at Cleethorpes Golf Club. The overall winner was Hilary Calvert, with 39 points.
The silver winner was Jean Markham, the low bronze winner was Ann Hodgson and the high bronze winner was Gill Reynolds.
The Nora Royle Trophy was won by lady captain Joan Young, winning with a nett 76 from Pam Clare (77).
The Cheer Cup - presented to the golfer with best medal score - was won by Jean Markham on countback, with a nett 71, cutting her handicap to 14.
Pam Hyde was second and Julia West third, and again both ladies reduced their handicaps.
The Ping 4BBB was won with 41 points by Claire Rylott and Jane Bratley.
In second were Chris Needham and Margaret Hardy.
The August Medal was well supported and some great golf was played, especially by winner Chris Sheriff, who returned with a nett 68.
Second, on a countback with a nett 70, was Hilary Calvert and third was Pam Clare.
All three reduced their handicaps.
The Open Texas Scramble saw Ruth Simpson, Audrey Dawson and Vanessa Johnson team up with Woodhall’s Kate Hall-Jones to come third.
