Boston Amateur Boxing Club’s Tommy Upsall recorded a unanimous victory when fighting in Bolsover at the weekend.
In action against R. State from Bolsover ABC, the Boston senior was in no mood to lose this contest.
His superior boxing skills were taking their toll on the home fighter in a fantastic bout of skillful boxing.
At the final bell, both boxers were applauded by the capacity crowd, with Upsall taking the contest with a unanimous points win.
Ruslans Smirnovs faced R. Parks from Birmingham International Academy and, although he put in a brave effort, the Boston ABC competitor found himself wanting in the third round.
Parks’ strength and offensive work forced the referee to intervene.
Smirnovs took a standing count, but the referee called a halt to his efforts, with Parks taking the contest by way of stoppage.
Boston warhorse Martin Kennedy faced R. Henson from Bolsover ABC.
In a hard-fought contest, Kennedy lost to the Bolsover pugilist by a unanimous points decision.
