WHILE Callum Johnson was doing the business against James Tucker - his cousin Thomas Pogson was left paying the price for a hard-fought victory of his own.

The teenage amateur was in action for Boston ABC where he earned a majority decision at the expense of Scunthorpe’s Bungy Smith on Friday night.

But victory didn’t come lightly for the 15-year-old - who now has both hands in pot.

“Broke my metacarple in my left hand (boxers fracture) and a bone in my thumb on my right hand. Least I won the fight! #3weeksrest!” he wrote on his Twitter account.

And on Sunday, Johnson posted this picture of his cousin recuperating.

Smith had previously beaten Pogson in front of a packed crowd at the Boston Show at Haven High back in April.

But as the season came to a close, Pogson was keen to gain revenge... seemingly at any cost.

In a tough fight in the north of the county, he did enough to get the decision against the home-town lad.

But celebrations were limited to a night in A&E.
