Sleaford Road claimed a second 10-0 victory in Division One of the Boston and Skegness EBA Bowls League, with a home win against Stickney.

Geoff Parker, Chris Gill and Matt Dawson skipped the rinks.

Skegness Foreshore had a convincing win 10-0 against a weakened Boston B C team as J. Ciplinski had a big win and I. Morris and G. Kitchen also succeeded.

Burton House had a comfortable 10-0 home win against Wrangle to get their campaign on a positive footing.

A good win for West End skip Mick Dodes and partners was sufficient for the aggregate points at home to Suncastle, succeeding 6-4.

In Division Two, title favourites Horncastle started with a resounding 10-0 win over Mareham with skips G. Lancaster, Steve Boucher and P. Oliver all winning well.

Frieston will be in contention and also started well with a 10-0 maximum against Kirton with regular skips M. Stray and D. Nunn being supported by new signing I. Dilley, all winning.
