KIRTON’S Ben Wilson has his sights set firmly on making it a famous five at Oulton Park.
As the championship heads into the second half of the season, the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport series returns to Oulton Park for its second visit of the year.
And Wilson has won his last four races at the Cheshire circuit this weekend.
He is now aiming to keep that run going as he hopes to extend his lead at the top of the leaderboard.
Wilson remains in control at the top of the rider standings with a healthy advantage over Alistair Seeley, who trails him by 49 points.
Wilson has won the last four races at the Cheshire circuit and will be aiming his sights high this weekend as he defends his championship lead.
“Seeley got the better of me at Snetterton last week but Oulton Park is one of my stronger circuits so hopefully I will be able to take it to him there,” Wilson said. “My Gearlink Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is more suited to the undulating Oulton Park circuit and I will be giving it my all in both races at the weekend to maintain my series lead.”
Two free practice sessions take place on Friday before a a single qualifying session on Saturday morning.
The 10-lap sprint race starts on Saturday afternoon at 4.30pm. The feature race, over 15 laps, is on Sunday, with a provisional start time of 3.50pm.
