BEN Wilson missed out on the British Supersport championship... by one point.
It was heartbreak for the KIrton Rioder who led by four points going into the final round at Brands Hatch on Saturday, only to finish a place behind rival Alistair Seeley.
With three races being run over the weekend, Wilson claimed victory in the opening contest at Brands as Seeley failed to finish, taking the lead by 11 points.
That lead dropped to four points after race two, where Seeley finished second and Wilson fourth.
Te gap dropped to four points.
That meant the final race would mean if either rider took first place, they were the champion.
After a long season, in which Wilson led for most of the campaign, he just missed out on the final race, taking second spot behind champion Seeley.
