Ben Wilson travels across the North Sea to Holland for round 10 of the British Supersport championship at Assen, better known as the Cathedral of Speed, this coming weekend.
The Kirton racer will be hoping to continue his run of strong results and add to his points tally to remain within the top 10 in the rider standings as we enter the final three rounds of the championship - currently he is holding eighth place and two good results at Assen could see him improve on this.
This time last year he was riding the Superbike for the Kawasaki team but prior to that he rode in the Supersport class, recording a close third place in 2013 at the Dutch circuit. Now he has returned to the Supersport class he will be seeking a similar result in the two races at Assen.
Free practice is on Friday at 9am and 3.05pm. Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 11.30am to set the grid for the start of the 12-lap sprint race later that day at 5.10pm. There’s a morning warm up on Sunday at 9.52am before the start of the 15-lap feature race at 3.30pm.
